Updated: Mar 19

Session Description:

Identifying the unique advocacy needs and barriers to services for Native LGBTQ+/Two Spirit survivors requires ongoing reflection and commitment to action. This session will help participants explore a new process called the Program Assessment for Social Change that advocacy programs can utilize to assess themselves and identify opportunities to strengthen services and support for LGBTQ2S+ survivors. Session participants will have an opportunity to reflect on their current work with LGBTQ2S+ survivors, including:

How the needs of LGBTQ2S+ survivors and staff are centered in how programs and services are structured

Identifying what opportunities exist to foster new community partnerships and strengthen existing relationships
