About Red Wind Consulting
A 501c3 nonprofit organization, Red Wind Consulting was created to end violence (domestic and dating violence, sex trafficking, sexual assault, and stalking) against Native American women. We provide much-needed programming, training, advocacy, and technical support to tribal and native-specific organizations. Click below to learn more about our work.
Scholarships for Tribal Advocates working to End Violence Against Native American Women
Red Wind Consulting is committed to working with Tribal and Native specific programs to ensure that indigenous solutions are incorporated in our thinking and responses to end violence against Native women. We regularly receive requests to provide scholarships for new advocates working for Tribes. Your donation will make it possible for Red Wind to provide scholarships when the tribe has no other funds to provide important Tribal Advocate training and certification.

Supporting Red Wind’s Tribal Advocate Scholarship Fund will help pay registration fees for Tribal Advocates that do not have funds to attend National Tribal Advocate Institutes.

Indigenous Solutions for Collective Liberation Resource Center
Red Wind is launching a new national resource center aimed at addressing anti-violence efforts. Current national resource centers, which are federally funded, may have to edit out diversity, equity, and inclusion topics from their materials. In contrast, Indigenous Solutions is designed to provide online resources at no cost to both Tribal and non-Tribal programs. We center our work on culture and ensure that all genders are represented.

Supporting Red Wind’s Indigenous Solutions Resource Center will enable us to carry forward work that is decolonized and culturally foc used for tribal programs addressing domestic and sexual violence.
Red Wind General Operations
Resources have been slow to reach Indian Country. Indigenous women have been organizing for years, however, the levels of technical support available to tribes and native-specific organizations continue to be limited. Red Wind was developed in 2005 to bring additional resources to ending violence against women work while enhancing the capacity of Tribal and Native-specific programs.

In 2025, Red Wind made the decision to stop seeking government funds. We made this decision to ensure that the information coming from Red Wind is guided by facts and needs. And is not carryinng colonized messages in our work.

Supporting Red Wind’s General Operations provides us with important resources to strategize and support our work in ways that we have dreamt of.
