Visioning
Red Wind will help you with your visioning work. Having clarity about the underlying values that will guide your work is critical! This can take some time and conversation to explore. Be sure to bring in the voices of those most affected by your project.What is the mission, vision and philosophy for your program? What are the values you can draw from? Dream about what you are creating or want to create.
Describing
Red Wind will help you engage in describing what you want to accomplish. If you can envision it, then you can create it.What do you want to do? What are your tribal values that you will incorporate in your work? What are the teachings that bring these values to all of us? How does that look in your relationships with others? How does that look in your work with women? How does that look in policies and structures? How does that look in your community relationships?
Developing
There are many questions to consider when actually developing your response. Red Wind can guide you through a process of moving your vision into practical application.What are the program elements or components you want to create? What will your program elements look like with your tribal values centered in them? How are you including those most impacted by your work? How are you including Elders and spiritual leaders in your work? How will you incorporate the program elements into the program structures? How do you connect them to community relationships?
You will be challenged to not recreate mainstream models.
Implementing
Any plan is useless unless implementation occurs. Being effective at implementation is a journey in itself.
